Shapla is named after the national flower of Bangladesh. The majority of Indian restaurants in Ireland and the UK are owned by Bangladeshi People. This is because Bangladesh was once a subcontinent of India.
We have been trading as an Indian Restaurant since 1983. We opened the first Indian Restaurant in Northern Ireland Ganges and we have been providing the finest Indian Cuisine since then.
After receiving alot of good feedback from our customers we were delighted to expand our restaurants to County Donegal. We first opened in Donegal Town in 2004 and then in 2005 in Letterkenny. We continue to provide a high standard of cuisine.
